Here is my image for August. There's not realy a change since the last month….

As you may remember, I started this photoproject in January: twelve 2014. I shoot the same location every month once. At the end of the year I will put them all together in a gif. Let's see how it's going to turn out.

The Mausoleum in August

  1. It's interesting to see what the similarities (and differences) are, month to month. Of course there are many that we never see, at levels that are hidden. It's fun to imagine some of those levels. Maybe foxes, rabbits, birds, mice, insects, so many things changing and growing, being born or hatching, eating, growing up, growing older and some being eaten. All in what looks like nothing has changed.

  2. Oh, but the light on the mausoleum is different–probably lower in the sky. And that foreground vegetation just looks… "older"! Wonderful project, and I'm scouting for a site close to home where I can do this.

  3. You are so right! +Ellie Kennard I love the way you see the things, and there are for sure all these animals in that cemetery! Thank you very much for your thoughtful comment! xoxo

  4. Yes! +Bette Kauffman the light is indeed already getting lower, I usually went there in the late afternoon to shoot it so this would be a change between the images. I'm looking forward to see what you will come up with! Thank you for stoping by! :o)
