During our holiday trip through California we had a few days stop in a lovely motel in Cayucos. This motel has a small but so dreamy patio. And there …. drum rolls …. I shot my first hummingbird EVER!!! 😀 …… Actually I had oodles and oodles of trying, because they move so fast! But sometimes they have done me a favor and have sat silent, so that I was able to come closer and shoot them. I'm quite happy with the result. Enjoy!! :o)

This image just stops me in time +Ursula Klepper. The image is so beautiful … and so perfectly pictures one of my favorite birds. Also Cayucos was a favorite vacation spot when I was a child.
